 Photomedicine and Laser Surgery is the official journal of the World Association for Laser Therapy (WALT) and the North American Association for Laser Therapy (NAALT).
It is indexed in MEDLINE, Current Contents/Clinical Medicine, and EMBASE/Excerpta Medica, among others. It has an impact factor of 1.75.
Published 12 times a year, Photomedicine and Laser Surgery covers basic and clinical research, expanded applications, and procedures in medicine, surgery, dentistry, safety, new instrumentation, optical diagnostics, and the broad range of activities related to the understanding and applications of biophotonics in medicine. Although covering surgical and technical aspects of lasers in medicine, phototherapy is the dominating theme.
From 2011 the journal is published on-line only. Subscribers will receive an email notification when a new issue is available. Subscribers will also have access to the entire archive, 2170 articles!
Subscription is based on the calendar year. Payments after November 1 are counted as subscription for the forthcoming year, unless stated otherwise.
