Whats in our bi-monthly Journals?

Photomedicine and Laser Surgery is the official journal of the World Association for Laser Therapy (WALT) and the North American Association for Laser Therapy (NAALT).

It is indexed in MEDLINE, Current Contents/Clinical Medicine, and EMBASE/Excerpta Medica, among others. It has an impact factor of 1.3.

Published 6 times a year, Photomedicine and Laser Surgery covers basic and clinical research, expanded applications, and procedures in medicine, surgery, dentistry, safety, new instrumentation, optical diagnostics, and the broad range of activities related to the understanding and applications of biophotonics in medicine.

The policy of our journal is to send back issues of the year to persons subscribing late. This means that if you subscribe in October, you will receive all the issues of the passed year and those to appear before the end of the year. If you subscribe in November, you will have a subscription for the next year, unless you inform us differently.

WALT membership also includes online access to the journal, including back issues.

Please observe that the mailing time for the journal to many cities outside of the US is up to one month and therefore the first issue of the year may appear as late as end of February/beginning of March.
